The Setting
All-Inclusive!
I understand that juggling parenting and work can be tricky, that's why I designed Child-Minded Day Care to be an all-inclusive setting that provides everything your child needs for their day. All you need to do is drop off your little one, and relax in the knowledge that they are being cared for as they would be at home. You'll never have to worry that you've forgotten sun cream or even nappies!
As a dedicated caregiver I am committed to providing a home-like atmosphere where children can learn, grow, and thrive. You can expect quality play-based learning with purpose, and a language rich environment.
Home-Made Flavours of the world For Your Little Ones!
No matter what stage your little one is at with their food journey, at Child-Minded Day Care your child can look forward to tasty home made nutritious meals like the ones I made above. Whether it be meat free, baby friendly, a classic British mid-week roast or a warming curry, you can guarentee your child will experience a wide variety of meals to broaden their flavour palette. In line with parental preference, babies are encouraged to try baby-led weaning to help give them the best introduction to new flavours and textures, in safe and managable portions, and at their own pace.
Learning Through Play
Child-Minded Day Care offers a unique and nurturing environment for children to grow and learn through play. I will be providing stimulating activities and resources that link in with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to enable children to thrive in all the areas of development. I am dedicated to providing a safe and stimulating space for children to develop and learn. Take a look at the pictures of just some of the past activities I created as a nanny.
Cat Therapy
There are two friendly and gentle kitties called Pippa and Cleo at Child-Minded Day Care. They love to play, and children will be encouraged to treat them as their pets! Did you know that interacting with an animal like a cat can trigger the release of endorphins in our bodies, which create a sense of well-being?
Cats can also have a positive impact on cardiovascluar health, they are shown to lower blood pressure, and after long-term exposure, protect against heart disease! Through interacting with the cats, children will enhance their emotional development, learn empathy and how to be gentle, learn how to care for cats and gain knowledge on what they need to thrive.
Extras
All-Inclusive
All meals, activities, trips, playgroups and toiletries such as nappies, wipes and extras such as sun cream are all included in your childs care, no need to worry you’ve forgotten something.
Growing Their Own
To help children to be healthy and learn how to be sustainable, they will be encouraged to grow their own food in the garden and harvest it when it’s ready. they’ll learn about what they need to do to grow their food and how we will use it in cooking.
Home From Home
In my setting, children will be made to feel at home. They will have their own peg with their name and picture, and they’ll find pictues on the fireplace of their families. They’ll also have photo albums to look through with familiar faces in them of their loved ones too!
Graduation
Every year your child will get a graduation certificate to celebrate their efforts and achievements.
